The Healthy Futures Award celebrates European healthcare sustainability projects that make significant strides towards a net zero and toxic-free future by dramatically reducing CO₂e emissions. Mollet University Hospital achieved a remarkable 91% reduction in direct CO₂ emissions over the past 12 years, successfully reaching its goal of zero direct emissions by 2023. The hospital is now setting its sights on achieving total NetZero emissions, including indirect emissions, by 2040.
