On 10–11 February, the CATALYSE Consortium gathered in Porto, Portugal, for its annual in-person meeting. The meeting brought together project partners to present recent results, share methodologies, and discuss progress across the project’s key work areas.
Key highlights from the meeting included:
- An overview of the models underpinning the Heat–Health and Allergic Rhinitis Early Warning Systems being developed within the project
- An update on the CATALYSE online platform, which will host project results beyond the project’s lifetime and is scheduled for launch in summer 2026
- An Early Career Researcher (ECR) lightning talk session, where ECRs shared the current status of their research and preliminary findings
As the project moves into its final year and a half, discussions are increasingly shifting from methodological development to communication and dissemination. A key focus of the meeting was how to maximise the scientific and societal impact of CATALYSE outputs, and how to ensure that project results remain accessible and impactful well beyond the project’s conclusion in September 2027.
